American model Crystal Renn was tapped to star on both the cover and the main feature for Elle Canada, January 2010. This set by Leda & St. Jacques is vintage and narrative at its best, showcasing the dashing Miss Renn in the era of Mad Men. Not unlike the lovely Joan Holloway from the period piece Mad Men show, Crystal Renn has something that most cover models don’t have, nowadays: curves. While her long neckline might suggest a slight build, Miss Renn is marketed as a plus-size model– and with earnings just shy of seven figures. In our opinion, its refreshing to see the curves in the photo above in a high fashion shoot. At the very least, its a step in the right direction…
