Ferrari has officially taken the wraps off of its newest California-model cruiser, the Ferrari California T gran tourer. This two-door hard-top convertible bears a pretty exclusive badge from Ferrari, as the California series represents some of the most exciting Ferrari models from the new T version back to the late 50s “Ferris Bueller” edition. This one is a coupe built for cruising, the ideal vehicle to explore the winding coastal roads of its namesake state on the West Coast.
The new Ferrari California T gran tourer is as athletic as it is attractive. It features a 3.9L turbocharged V8 engine which produces 560 horsepower underfoot, enough to push the California T to 60mph in about 3.6 seconds. It tops out a hair shy of 200mph, but it’s close enough that we’ll consider this one an honorary supercar. A car like this isn’t built for pushing the top end, it’s built for accelerating and handling on the curvy, dynamic roads of pleasure-drives around the United States and beyond.
The Ferrari California T will be shown off in-the-flesh at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Word on its arrival and pricing info will begin to appear closer to exhibition.
