Jaeger Le-Coultre has re-designed their classic Atmos Clock, a true “objet d’art” since 1928. This stunning table top clock continues a tradition over 80 years in the making, originally engineered by craftsman Jean-Léon Reutter. Today, Australian designer Marc Newson refashioned the venerable Jaeger Le-Coultre Atmos Clock with a Baccarat crystal case that contains a new movement, the Jaeger-LeCoultre 566 Calibre.
The face of the Jaeger Le-Coultre Atmos Clock is both minimal and majestic, with simple hour and minute marks on its perimeter and detailed astrologic charting at its center. Behind the face, the 566 Calibre movement rotates silently to accurately measure every second with precision. The piece spins slowly, stoically, a visually-arresting object of art for the discerning modern home. [jaeger-lecoultre]
