The glorious gullwing returns again with a new model for the next calendar year, the great 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT. The new SLS takes the baton from the 2012 model while squeezing a bit more juice out of the sexy parts of its predecessor. The 6.2L V8 engine produces 20 more horsepower for 583 ponies, enough to shave a tenth of a second off of its 0-60 acceleration. Like the model before it, the new SLS AMG will be electronically-limited to 197 mph, a hair away from genuine supercar territory. The real beauty mark on this SLS is the same as those that came before, those beautiful gullwing doors that make this Mercedes appear to fly away into the sunset.
