Edible Fixed Gear Bike

Photographer Fabian Orhn and art director Joakim Hedblad combined forces to create a fixed gear bike that is completely edible. From far away the bicycle creation appears to be made of typical materials like aluminum and steel but an up close view shows that it is quite  far from ordinary. The bike’s mechanics are composed of vegetables, fruits, and other foods sculpted together with various substances like thick syrup holding it together like glue. The result is a truly unique creation consisting of 100% comestible ingredients. So, what’s for dinner you ask? A sweet bike indeed.  [via trendland]
