The MIT Media Lab hopes to make our cities smarter, offering up a personal transport option that is sensitive to our modern space needs. The Folding Roboscooter by MIT Media Lab is designed to carry an urban commuter to and from work and home, while folding into a small package for easy storage. The assumption is that those of us who don’t drive a car to our city job (MIT thinks many more of us should consider this) can still have fast personal transport without needing a garage space. Just fold the Roboscooter into itself and this standard-size scooter will fit into a much tighter space. [via designboom]
