Here’s a carefully selected roundup of the 16 best hot sauces that promise to bring variety and fresh fire to your table.
1. Mad Dog 357 No. 9 Plutonium
The Mad Dog 357 No. 9 Plutonium is reserved only for those with a rather daring palate. Nothing else comes close to it. At 9 million Scoville Units, the retro “nuclear” signage on the bottle is sufficient warning about how powerful this sauce is. “Should never be consumed directly,” reads a warning on the label.
Novices aren’t welcome to experiment here. Only those who think they’ve had it all in the world of the hottest hot sauce, and are looking for something more explosive should venture here, and cautiously. If you’d want to go the mile, then have a blast.
Mad Dog 357 Plutonium No. 9 Pepper turns on the ultimate heat in the world of the hottest hot. The extract is composed of a staggering 60% capsicum. To put this into context, a thousand ounces of pure raw pepper form 1-ounce of sizzling hot, potent “plutonium”.
If you’re looking to simply spice your dinner, you’ll be going to the wrong place to get a drop of this into your plate.
2. The Source Hot Sauce
Set your taste buds ablaze with The Source Hot Sauce. At 7.1 million Scoville Units, this is an extremely hot extract. You can use only a drop at a time… and that cautiously.
It’s so explosive it warns that you must be 21 and above to purchase. Ensure you keep your “bomb” away from children and pets. Never consume this stuff on its own but only use it as a food additive.
3. Mad Dog 357 Pepper Extract
Ashley Foods once again parades one of their revered arsenals in the hottest hot sauce league table. Anything with heat levels in the millions is a tool of warfare that can mercilessly ravage your mouth if handled carelessly.
At 5 million Scoville Heat Units, or 35% pure capsicum content, you’re holding a barrel down your mouth anytime this stuff features on the menu. Just a drop of the Mad Dog 357 will transform your plate of food into a constant stream of lightning bolts on your palate.
Made from pepper extract and soybean oil, it delivers flavor with a sizzling twist.
4. Mad Dog 44 Magnum
At a sweltering 4 million Scoville Heat Units, the heat levels on Mad Dog 44 Magnum are light-years from mild. A pepper extract from Ashley Foods, the company that has made it their mission to roll out a range of missiles destined for your dinner table.
All of Ashley’s products are made from natural-derived ingredients and packaged into small hand-measured packages to ensure the heat stays fresh as it’s sparingly drizzled into your food.
This is a food additive that should never be consumed directly. It’s the presence of such explosive hot sauces in your collection that separates the boys from the men.
5. Da Bomb The Final Answer
Da Bomb, are also the makers of another hot sauce known as Insanity. However, it’s The Final Answer that’s the ultimate heat bomb from Da Bomb. One of the hottest hot sauces yet. This one gets to a whopping 1.5 million Scoville Heat Units. Never dare consume it directly from the jar. Use only as an additive, being careful to apply mean showers from the 2-ounce bottle to your food.
6. Blair’s Ultra Death Sauce
Ultra Death is Blair’s hottest sauce. It’s a few steps hotter compared with the revered Mega Death, from the same company.
Blair’s skull key chained trademark is sufficient warning that this product must be handled with care if you do not intend to be left speechless for a while from its sizzling flames. The sauce just gets over the one million mark on the Scoville Heat scale. We can count this as a hot sauce and not a pepper extract.
This is the hottest true sauce that Blair has ever made, even hotter than the mighty Mega Death. Like all the others we’ve already covered, don’t consume undiluted or directly. It’s potent.
The active ingredients that make it a dreaded force to reckon with is an amalgamation of various peppers that include habanero peppers, serrano peppers, cayenne peppers, Jolokia peppers, and garlic, salts, and more spices.
7. Mad Dog 357 Revenge
Hats off to Ashley Foods who win the bragging rights for concocting some of the hottest hot sauces that have delivered flavor and heat with a thunderous smack. Mad Dog 3577 Revenge is a high concentration of terror compacted into less than two-ounces.
Made in the United States from carefully selected natural-derived constituents, the sauce’s active ingredients consist of habanero pepper for flavor and pepper extract. There’s a reason the packaging features a screaming yellow label that serves as an early warning sign of the heatwave this sauce can send down your system. Never consume directly out of the pack.
8. Tabasco Sauce Variety 4-Pack
Tabasco Sauce has a rich history spanning five generations. Edmund Mchellny put together a personal recipe of red peppers, pure vinegar, and salt sourced from Avery Island in a bid to create the hottest hot sauce. Tabasco’s popularity has grown by leaps and bounds over the years. It comes in a 4-pack containing assorted flavors made from the best selections to suit your taste and requirement.
You may sample the 4-pack package that bundles up four popular flavors into 2-ounce bottles. These four featured hot flavors are classic pepper, green pepper, habanero, and garlic pepper. Alternatively, you may want to go for the original flavor packaged in 12-ounce bottles. You decide.

14. Habanero Punch TKO
This is not in the domain of the amateurish enquirer who is only beginning to venture into the world of insanely hot chilies. Habanero Punch TKO is an extremely hot sauce. A mere drop of the mix will deliver flavor and heat to your taste buds with a heavy, unapologetic blow.
It’s made from habanero peppers, an item that’s quite common on these streets of fire, and sweetened with honey, with a touch of garlic. Chili extract adds to the pain in the pulp. If you wish to shed sweat and tears in one go, battle it out over a lunch of seafood soaking in a drop of this sauce.

It gets its name from a triune combination of Jolokia peppers, red Savina habanero, and Fatalii peppers. These three peppers combine to produce a formidable super hot sauce whose Scoville range hits a million. That’s spectacular since it doesn’t consist of extracts that have been highly concentrated to achieve a high score on the scale.
Besides adding flavor and fire to your dishes, this ultrahot sauce can make a perfect gift idea.

Quick disclaimer: If we missed anything, let us know in the comments below. We’ll review it and add it to the list if it’s hot. Very hot. Extremely hot.
I’m one of those classic piss-and-vinegar old geezers who puts hot sauce on everything that isn’t a donut or chocolate cake. I thought I could take on all comers when it came to spicy condoms & condiments until one day I found some new arrivals at my grocer’s: HOT SAUCES made by AUBREY D. Such variety, such promise! I immediately purchased all 5 or 6 of their flavors and once back home with a fresh bacon and eggs plate in front of me ready to be scarfed down I put a few drops of ‘SCORPION’ on the food & took a big bite. BIG
MISTAKE! My mouth lit up like firecrackers doused in gasoline. I still felt the pain after guzzling 2 liters of milk a half-hour later. I remember wishing that someone in the house owned a loaded gun to put a merciful bullet in my brain & end the pain. Weeks later, having learned my lesson, or so I believed, I tried a few tiny drops of ‘REAPER 51’: IT WAS EVEN WORSE! That was over 3 years ago; I still have the original bottles of these hot sauces & I don’t anticipate running out of sauce anytime soon.
Haha, way to go Laszlo :)) Nice story. Nice sauce.
No Puckerbutt Reaper Squeezins or Gator sauce with Pepper X?
BTW Mad Dog Plu is a waxy semi solid chunk of capsicum extract, plus whatever they mix with it. You have to heat it in warm water to turn it into liquid. No I did NOT SAY YOUR MICROWAVE! Don’t do that!…its a food additive not a sauce. You could make some STOOOPID HOT sauce with it tho!😂
