The owners of this weekend house in Japan certainly understand the philosophy of open living.  Based in Karuizawa, of the Nagano Prefecture of Japan, the Weekend House by Dasic Architects features an open floorplan that extends right out into its natural forest scenery.  Floor-to-ceiling glass gives this home a boundless feel, and it is the trees and nature on this lot that truly make this house what it is.  The interior is open, angular, warm and wooden, featuring hardwood floors and ceilings and the soft, yellow lighting that reflects from within.  If you spend your work week in the busy streets of Tokyo, wouldn’t this be the ultimate weekend retreat?  We certainly think so…  [whatwedoissecret via materialicious]
