Light calligrapher Kalaam (aka Julien Breton) has released a new series of light painting photographs with the help of photographer David Gallard. Kalaam, a light calligrapher who takes inspiration from arabic writing to form his symbols and words, produces masterful images that slowly burn into the camera’s sensor. Gallard frames these photographs on industrial and natural backgrounds, adding a palpable edge to Kalaam’s brilliant characters. We’ve featured Julien Breton’s light calligraphy before, and have included his work in our list of Light Painting Photography Masterworks. Definitely worth a look… [via DesignBoom]
