Lamborghini has revealed a new concept car that is designed to provide the ultimate driving experience to a single rider, the Lamborghini Egoista Concept. The height of Lamborghini precision and design has been rendered into a vehicle that eschews the utility of a two or four person interior. The resulting lower curb weight and increased space for muscle will yield some entirely intimidating performance numbers. It’s powered by a 600hp 5.2L V10 engine, providing quite a bit of punch for its single rider. From our estimate, that may just be the largest engine to be placed in a single-rider production vehicle– assuming this one sees the light of production.
The new Lamborghini Egoista Concept is designed to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, one that spans a collection of some of the most exciting vehicles ever built. From our favorite, the mid-80s Lamborghini Countach to the modern day Aventador and now the Egoista, there is plenty to celebrate. The Lamborghini Egoista was first shown off at the Grand Giro d’Italia this week, and we expect many similar stops in its future. Will this Lamborghini one day become a production vehicle? We wouldn’t be surprised. There might be a few wealthy individuals who would enjoy all that power and uniquity in a single-rider unit. We’re already collecting our pennies…
