The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has recently opened their first European hotel, choosing this Mediterranean hotspot to expand their luxury hotel offering. While its location on Passeig de Gràcia is unbeatable, it is the interior design of the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona that makes this hotel so special. Spanish-born architect Patricia Urquiola gave form to this structure’s interior, with themed rooms like the white-walled, vegetation green room above and the warm, calm contemporary suites like the one below.
