German artist Sarah Illenberger has a truly playful, hands-on approach to visual art. She crafts spirited designs out of every-day objects with little more than a pair of hands, with materials ranging from thread to paper, watermelon to tires. Her work will soon be shown at the Gestalten Space in Berlin, and these five images are a teaser of her entire collection. Each of her art works brings a smile to our face, thanks to a refreshing take on visual art that is everything but serious. Nice work, Sarah. [via designboom]
