The peaceful tranquility of the forest provides the perfect environment for scholarly study, where the worries of the world only happen elsewhere. Gluck+ architecture has designed a serene escape for the student who desires the natural quiet that only the Catskill Mountains can provide. Deep in the woods, this two-story structure houses books and other media on its lower-level shelves and a window-walled study room above. In every direction, the view from this Scholar’s Library peers deep into the surrounding forest and the flora and fauna that call it home. We challenge you to view this amazing structure and not want to call it your own– for work, play or relaxation. [architect: GLUCK+ photographer: paul warchol via: designboom]
